The brief – A jungle themed, indoor play area with mini train and 18 hole crazy golf course, in the heart of Market Place Bolton. Name, branding, interior design, social media, website, booking system and launch campaign required. We were gonna need a bigger boat.

A unique environment required a unique approach. Working alongside our talented illustrator, brand ‘Amazonia’ was born. Once we had the name and logo, we got to work on kitting out the entire space, designing and digitally printing all the interior branding, right down to the floor.

The creative made for a visually stunning responsive website and the Facebook page alone generated 2,500 likes before we’d even started the social media campaign plugging it.

Then came the launch campaign. Competitions and promotions in local schools, regional press, teaser videos and some decidedly dodgy characters dressed as jungle animals, running around Bolton town centre.

We’re particularly proud of this project here at Portfolio, as it was a real hands-on team effort. Long hours, hard graft and a few cheeky trips to the adjacent microbrewery made sure the launch was a huge success.
